Symbolic Transformation: the creation of a personal mythology

These hand colored photographs are a record of my spiritual readings and experiences as I did my graduate work at Texas A & M University in Kingsville. I actually worked independently as I read extensively on the subject of transformation. I read Carl Jung, Matthew Fox, Mircea Eliade, Rupert Sheldrake, Stephen Larsen, and Joseph Campbell among others. My graduate paper is record of my spiritual and artistic experiences with an intellectual interpretation. This project took over two years and documents my experiences from 1999-2001.
