Satchitananda translates from Sanskrit as Sat (Truth) + Chit (Consciousness) + Ananda (Bliss) and is a description of the subjective experience of ultimate, unchanging reality in Hinduism called Brahman. This group of photographs was shown at the Blue Star Arts Complex and are my attempts to describe this state of consciousness in terms of my own experiences in India.
I layered photographs with pictures I took of the highly textured walls in Puducherry.
Each image is 13" x 19" and printed on archival, matte finished photography paper and sell for $100 each unframed
and $200 framed.
